Course Summary:
This course is designed to provide law enforcement officers and prosecutors with a foundational understanding of cryptocurrency investigations and blockchain analysis. Participants will learn how to identify the presence of cryptocurrency in criminal investigations, determine the critical information to obtain from victims, and understand current law enforcement capabilities related to blockchain analysis and cryptocurrency seizure.
The training session will also include an overview of emerging fraud and financial scam trends affecting victims in Wyoming. In addition, attendees will receive a case briefing highlighting a cryptocurrency fraud investigation to illustrate investigative strategies and best practices.
Tuition Cost:
This training is FREE to federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement.

June 8 - 12, 2026: Riverton, Wy
Central Wyoming College will host Gracie Survival Tactics Level 1 training this spring, providing local and state law enforcement officers with modern defensive tactics instruction focused on de-escalation and injury reduction.
The five-day training will take place Monday through Friday, June 8-12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the Riverton High School wrestling room.
The cost to attend is $1500.

June 16 & 17, 2026: Lander, Wy
Please join us for the 2026 Wyoming LECC conference in Lander, WY on June 16th and 17th. The conference offers two days of exceptional training, an annual awards ceremony, and opportunities to meet and network with peers from federal, state, and local agencies from across Wyoming. The conference will be held at the Lander Community & Event Center in Lander, WY.
Registration Fee: $150
Registration fees are waived for all award recipients!
Conference is POST and CLE accredited.
Food and beverages, to include lunch, will be served on each day of the conference to accommodate our attendees.
No registration fee if attending the awards ceremony only.
The LECC will be holding a raffle for amazing prizes. This year, all proceeds will be donated to the Wyoming Post Critical Incident Seminar so Wyoming officers can continue to attend free of charge. Raffle tickets will be on sale at the conference.
